As an original Trekkie who remembers the very first airing of the very first show, I really enjoyed this movie. I was reluctant to see it at first because of the media's usual propensity for making fun of Star Trek Fans. It really tried to understand the phenomenon and did so objectively but affectionately. My 14 year old son who never was interested in ST very much (he was reluctantly dragged to conventions since he was a baby), watched this movie with fascination. There does not seem to be a ST convention in the Philadelphia area in years. Is there any place we can get info on upcoming ones?
