Hello,

I saw the movie "Trekkies" on the ONLY day it showed in my hometown of Vallejo, CA. It showed only once and my girlfriend, my friend and I were the ONLY three people in the theatre!! It is one of my favorite movies. It was kinda disturbing how much I related to so many of the people featured in the film. But it was also comforting to know that there are others. Anyways I am in a punk band called the Have-Nots, and we have a couple of songs about Star Trek (more on the way). One is called "Boldly Going" (when we play it at shows, I don a klingon head/wig) and the other is a love song called "Mind-Meld". When we play the Vulcan Mind-Meld song I wear a pair of pointed ears. Last Halloween, when we played a show, I wore my Starfleet uniform, complete with communicator, tricorder and phaser! We are thinking of changing our band name to something Trek related, any suggestions? E-mail me.
