Just thought I'd let you know how the con went this weekend. Many had seen Trekkies and liked it. Also, I had planned on bringing Bones Junior [the cat] to the contest anyhow, but so many people came up to me the first two days and commented on the film and then jumped right to wanting to know where junior was! I'm used to it, but poor jasper! :) He did get to tag along on Saturday, but junior did the contest. So many people wanted him to. Anyhow, I also got smothered in line Saturday! It was this one woman who had seen us in the film.. she grabbed me and was nuts ... Then she mentioned how much she liked the film.. and of course, looked down and asked where Bones Junior was.. oh well.. that was a first for me though.. I never expected something like that to ever happen in my life! Then when junior showed up, she did the same thing to him! :) One dealer was selling posters of the film.. $12 .. they were selling fairly well according to him. He got them from somewhere in Baltimore.
