Hi,

My name is Mark Wolfe and I've been a Trek fan for...alll my 35 years!

I just saw your documentary this weekend. I am usually annoyed at such docu's because of the kind of light they shine on certain "fans". This one was about the same, but it was very engaging, funny and touching too. I liked the human slant as opposed to comparing the fans to lunatics or societal outcasts (as they sometime are). It really was a joy to see, basically, myself up there as fans celebrated their love to this tv show. It also reminded me of my friends and I when we were younger and had parties to celebrate the anniversary of the original tv series. TV crews, local papers, etc. always came to our parties and the response was overwhelmingly positive!

Your film also reminded me of the time I went to Gene Roddenburys hotel room when he appeared here in West Virginia and I asked him to talk to my friends and I downstairs a day before the actual con. As he stood there in his white tank-tee and boxers, having just come in from a long flight, the red-faced, tired, Great Bird of the Galaxy did something we never expected...He said, "Give me few minutes and I'll be down to talk to you all". He spent over 45 minutes talking to us, signing autographs and posing for pictures with great cheer and vigor!

Sums up why Trek is so special and why we continue to be "family". No matter where, if a Star Trek fans lives and breathes you are never alone here.

Thank you for making this film.

Live long and prosper,

Mark
