Thank you for allowing us to view an advance screening of a work in progress "Trekkers". Of course our favorite part was the sequence dealing with Klingons, which included the famous eating at Carl's Jr. scene. I especially liked the ominous music used. After the showing several of us went to dinner to talk about the documentary and discussed the reasons why we get into the outfits. We were concerned that the main focus of the film deals with the people that the mundane world views as weird, or the traditional "Trekkie", and not the ones who do actual community service in the name of Star Trek. It is a good film though and when it is ready for theatrical release we would be glad to help with opening night. Our group has helped out with the regular Star Trek film openings, and we are the only group we know of that actually puts on a show (scripted) for the audience to get them in the mood. Also we will be doing our nentay (ascension ceremony) at this years comic-con, another production that our group performs live before an audience. Once again thank you for allowing us the opportunity to see the film.
