Congratulations on making a film that many "Trekkies" will see.
I just saw this film in Jacksonville, Florida. It really touched a cord with my wife and myself. The characters who were married and the wife who said her husband could have one room to display his memorabilia in and his stuff is running over into other rooms...well that hit home. My wife said the exact same thing to me. Your movie though showed the extreme of "Trekkies".
Their are numerous people out their who enjoy Star Trek but keep it hidden. I call them closet "Trekkies". They are afraid of the label and the condescending nature of the word itself. Your movie expressed only the extreme side of the "Trekkie" and did not show that their are others out their who collect all things Trek, but choose not to weird out over it.
Had your movie also showed more subdued fans it would have given a great contrast to the film as a whole and not given in to the stereo typical visualization of the "Trekkie".
All in all though...A very enjoyable and entertaining documentary. Hope you get put in for an award in next years Academy.
