I was fortunate enough to attend a preview screening of "Trekkies" and it was excellent. Not only is it funny as shit, but it's really chock-full of all kinds of extreme behviour that nonetheless makes sense to any self-respecting geek. A bunch of people came to the theater to mock the film and ended up laughing their asses off and feeling a little less superior than they'd bargained.

If anyone knows how to get in touch with Gabriel, the wonderkid, please let me know -- This guy is amazing and I want him to know that I admire his chutzpah and remember when I was just a wee bairn going to Trek Cons for the first time. It's wonderful.
